Our Planning Services

Required for site plan application, re-zoning or official plan amendments, Safe Roads staff has 15 years of experience in preparing transportation impact and parking studies.  Parking can be an expensive part of any development. Safe Roads knows that a parking study should help provide the right amount of parking for your development, balancing the supply and demand, so that space is not wasted.

With congestion running rampant in the Greater Toronto Area and beyond, Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Plans are an excellent way to manage the transportation needs of a community while identifying new, more sustainable commute options.  TDM plans leverage existing infrastructure while recommending programs and initiatives that reduce single-occupant vehicle trips.

Safe Roads can coordinate and manage Environmental Assessment studies for roads and bridges, as well as for rail, BRT and LRT assignments planned under the Transit Project Assessment Process (TPAP). Safe Roads continues to monitor recent changes to Ontario’s EA legislation (Bill 108 and Bill 197) which seek to streamline the assessment process.
